For the next few months I’ll be in post production on my new CBC documentary “Ms. Scientist”. The documentary is about female scientists in Canada. I will be celebrating their careers but also looking at what is getting in the way of their success. I was fortunate to be able to interview Canada's Science Minister Kirsty Duncan for the documentary. She is really fighting to get more girls interested in science and also is looking at how to retain women in STEM.
It's been such an incredible experience meeting these talented, hard working women. They have taught me a lot about reaching for my goals and also how challenging it is to balance a career and family life.
The one hour documentary will air on CBC in the late summer or early fall of 2018 on the "Absolutely Canadian" strand! Thank you CBC for giving me this opportunity!
