Recently I filmed in Calgary, Alberta at the Land of Dreams.
On this small area of land I met newcomers to Canada who are learning how to grow vegetables and flowers in Alberta's soil.
They are also learning about Indigenous culture and how to raise chickens, be a beekeeper and the importance of compost.
It's an amazing urban farming initiative by the Calgary Catholic Immigration Society.
I was filming for my new documentary series that I am hosting which is currently called "Food's Footprint".
The documentary series "Food’s Footprint" will go on a journey across Alberta and British Columbia to discover the sustainable food practices that are altering the future of food and the environment.
