In Season 4, we continue the journey with even more — connecting with Canada’s food, nature, diverse cultures, unique characters, and the powerful stories of Indigenous tourism.

I do love growing food and making films so this new series Food's Footprint with Brandy Yanchyk makes me very happy. It focuses on sustainable agriculture and the future of food.

Recently I filmed in Calgary, Alberta at the Land of Dreams.
On this small area of land I met newcomers to Canada who are learning how to grow vegetables and flowers in Alberta's soil.
They are also learning about Indigenous culture and how to raise chickens, be a beekeeper and the importance of compost.
It's an amazing urban farming initiative by the Calgary Catholic Immigration Society.
I was filming for my new documentary series that I am hosting which is currently called "Food's Footprint".
The documentary series "Food’s Footprint" will go on a journey across Alberta and British Columbia to discover the sustainable food practices that are altering the future of food and the environment.
Thank you to the Alberta Federation of the Arts for the funding to start this new series.
Brandy Yanchyk has completed her new documentary #BreakingLoneliness. The documentary is about escaping loneliness and social isolation. Recently Brandy Yanchyk was invited to show excerpts of her documentary Ms. Scientist and moderate a panel about the challenges women in science are facing. Scientists from the University of Alberta who were in the documentary #MsScientistFilm participated. The room was packed.
Two more episodes of Brandy Yanchyk’s travel series Seeing Canada have been chosen to air on Air Canada’s In-Flight Entertainment System from July 1st until August 31st.
Brandy Yanchyk's new travel series Seeing the USA started airing on public TV stations in the USA including PBS on April 6th, 2019. Currently there are two episodes available to watch, one show on Alaska and one episode on Oregon. Check your television listing to see when “Seeing the USA” is airing in your area.

This includes Create® TV which reaches 46 million viewers nationwide in the USA. Create® TV is produced and distributed by APT, WNET New York and WGBH Boston in association with NETA and PBS.
We are so excited to start filming the second season of Brandy Yanchyk’s #documentary series #DinoTrails. This week we filmed the new dinosaur #DinoZuul with palaeontologists Victoria Arbour and David Evans at the Royal Ontario Museum. It was incredible.
